Newspapers and magazines
Greater Sudbury Public Library offers access to a wide variety of Canadian and international magazines, journals and newspapers, both in print, through our Online Research Tools and in microform. Microform titles are available only at the Main Library.

- Northern Life
- Le Voyageur
- Globe and Mail (held at Chelmsford, Lively, Main, New Sudbury, South End)
- National Post (held at Main, New Sudbury and South End)
- Toronto Star (held at Chelmsford, Main, New Sudbury, South End)
Things to Know:
- Newspapers in print and microform cannot be checked out, but must be read within the Library. Only the Main Library keeps back issues of newspapers.
- Journals, magazines and newspapers that are available in electronic format can be accessed with a valid GSPL card and PIN. Most of these resources are full-text and all are available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week through the Library's website.
- The online version of the Sudbury Star can only be accessed from within the library.
- Magazines may be checked out and reserved online.
