Cell phone recycling
Six libraries are participating in the Recycle My Cell program. While you can drop off your old cell phones at any branch, the following locations have a drop-box:
Household Battery Collection
You can drop off your batteries at the nearest library branch.
What kinds of batteries are accepted?
- Alkaline Batteries: standard household batteries (AAA, AA, C, D, and 9 volt).
- Button Batteries: small round and silver-coloured. They are most commonly found in watches and hearing aids.
