Wi-fi hotspot lending

test
The Greater Sudbury Public Library is piloting a Wi-Fi hotspot lending program at the Main Library

Lending guidelines

  • To check out a Wi-Fi hotspot, you must read, understand, and sign the Technology Waiver and Lending Agreement.
  • Return Wi-Fi hotspots to a staff member directly, not placed in the drop box, or left on the counter.
  • At this time, devices must be picked up and dropped off at the Main Library only.
  • Due to the high demand, Wi-Fi hotspots must be picked up within 3 days of receiving a hold pickup notification.

Who can borrow

  • Use a Greater Sudbury Public Library card (Passport) in good standing to borrow a Wi-Fi hotspot.
  • Minors (patrons under 18) may use their library card to check out a Wi-Fi hotspot if their Guardian, has signed an agreement giving that minor permission.
