Temporary Hours Extension at Main Library

February 8, 2024 – Hours of operation at the Main Library branch of the Greater Sudbury Public Library will be temporarily extended beginning Saturday, February 10th, 2024.

From February 10th to April 28th, 2024, the Main Library will operate under the following weekend schedule:

Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The temporary extension of operating hours is the result of a partnership with the City of Greater Sudbury and funded through the federal Reaching Home program. This initiative will increase public access to indoor space on weekends during the winter months.

The Main Library will be operating at regular service levels during extended hours with the Library’s full suite of services available to all patrons.
