Ontario Parks Passes


Ontario Parks has provided free vehicle permits for members of the Greater Sudbury Public Library to enjoy its network of provincial parks. Use your library card to borrow one of our provincial park passes from May 28 to November 30!  

Consult the Ontario Parks website for up-to-date information on their COVID-19 protocols and important information about park locations, hours of operation, and closures so you can plan your visit accordingly.

How to Use a Pass

  • The pass entitles one vehicle to enter any provincial park, subject to park regulations.
  • The pass is good for unlimited DAILY vehicle entry at operating provincial parks for the duration of the permit and offers a DAY park entry for one vehicle plus all its passengers. The permit does NOT cover overnight camping.
  • Ontario Parks are also offering FREE weekday day use visits to the public from Monday to Thursday beginning May 1st to September 2nd,2021. The permit is only required for visits on Fridays and on weekends.

How to Borrow a Pass

  • There are three passes at each of the 13 library locations. They are available on a first come, first served basis. 
  • You must have a Greater Sudbury Public Library card in good standing to borrow these passes.
  • Return passes to the branch from which they were borrowed.
