Closeup of a young girl playing golf. The Greater Sudbury Public Library has partnered with the Lively Golf Club to offer the lending of two junior golf memberships, along with golf clubs from the Lively Public Library & Citizen Services Centre. This program gives youth between the ages of 12 and 18 years old the opportunity to try a game of golf at the Lively Golf Club at no charge during the summer.

Who Can Participate

Youth between the ages of 12 and 18 years old are invited to participate.

What You Get

You may check out a Junior Membership Pass (valued at $150) to the Lively Golf Club that will be good for one week.

You will also receive a set of five (5) golf clubs. Based on availability, you can choose between a left- or a right-handed set (valued at $150). If you already have clubs, you do not have to borrow this equipment.

The Junior Membership Passes and golf clubs are checked out on a first-come, first-served basis, and may not be reserved in advance. Find golf clubs in our catalogue!

What Do I Need?

You will need to visit the Lively Public Library & Citizen Services Centre and use a library card to sign them out. If you do not already have a library card, it is easy to get one.

Call the Lively Golf Club @ 705-692-5502 to arrange a tee time to use the pass and equipment.

You may use the pass more than once during the week.

When You Are Done

You must return both the pass and the clubs to the Lively Library after one week.

If these are not returned, you will be charged $1 per day late fees or, if not returned at all, a $300 replacement fee.
