Getting a GSPL Library Card

Greater Sudbury Public Library is striving to connect our community to resources and information during the COVID-19 pandemic. While our physical branches may be closed, the GSPL is still able to serve you digitally.

If you live or study in the City of Greater Sudbury and don't have a GSPL library card, you can now register for a library card via email, phone or social media, so you can still access our Digital Library from the comfort of your own home.
There are various ways to contact us to get a library card and PIN to access online resources. Select one option:
  • Send us an email using the Ask a Question form.
  • Call us at 705-673-1155 and leave a message. We will return your call between the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM, Monday-Friday
  • Visit us on our Facebook page and send us a private message, or message us directly using Messenger.

Currently, this library card only provides access to GSPL's digital collections. Once the library resumes regular operations, we can provide you with a full-access library card.
