The GSPL Anytime, Anywhere Collection provides access to a large selection of eBooks and digital audiobooks that you can download and read on your eReader, tablet, smartphone, computer or in
your web browser. Powered by OverDrive, these eBooks and audiobooks work much like other library books with lending periods up to 21 days.
Archambault carries a wide variety of genre fiction collections and popular non-fiction categories for both adults and children in French.
Well-known Québecois authors are represented (e.g. Sylvie Gendron, Claude Jutras, Félix Leclerc), and there are some translations of popular fiction titles from other languages.
There is almost no overlap with titles available on OverDrive.
Project Gutenberg is one of the world's largest repositories of eBooks. Specializing in works that are in the public domain, Project Gutenberg allows you to download titles in a wide range of formats at no cost.
TumbleBookCloud is an online collection of read-along chapter books for students in late elementary to high school (approximately). Text size/colour is adjustable and sentences are highlighted as they are narrated aloud. There are approximately 300 books including middle school readers (with high interest/low level books), young adult/teen titles, Shakespeare plays, and classics.
TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of ebooks for children in grades K-6 (approximately). Existing children's books are licnesed for use then animated using the existing illustrations and adding audio narration. The collection includes old time favorites such as The Paper Bag Princess by Robert Munsch, Diary of a Worm, How I Became a Pirate, Miss Malarkey Doesn't Live in Room 10, One Duck Stuck, as well as favourite fairy tales such as Jack and the Beanstalk and Old Mother Hubbard.
