Temporary Closure of the Copper Cliff Library

March 6, 2024 – The temporary closure of the Copper Cliff Library at 11 Balsam Street and its relocation to the McClelland Community Centre are ongoing, with an anticipated completion date of Monday, March 18th. The temporary closure and relocation are required to accommodate repairs to the building.
During the temporary closure and relocation period the following changes in service levels will be in effect:

Copper Cliff Library Open to the Public

The temporary closure period of the Copper Cliff Library has now ended and patrons are welcome back into the building.
Greater Sudbury Public Library extends a thank you to staff from the McClelland Community Centre and Arena for accommodating the library in their space on a temporary basis while repairs were ongoing in the Library building. Temporary Hours Extension at Main Library

February 8, 2024 – Hours of operation at the Main Library branch of the Greater Sudbury Public Library will be temporarily extended beginning Saturday, February 10th, 2024.
From February 10th to April 28th, 2024, the Main Library will operate under the following weekend schedule:
- Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
